Well it's very late Monday night, actually early Tuesday morning. We have again returned home hoping to get some better rest. We still do not have any definate answers as to what is causing Isaac's bowl troubles. They have again ruled out what is called a mal-rotation of the intestines, which would have occurred during development in the womb and would also be causing him to be very sick right now. They have also pretty much ruled out marconium ilius which causes marconium plugs, which would have stopped up the intestines. This is good because marconium ilius is a symptom of cistic fibrosis. What is now at the top of their list is what is called Hirschsprung's Disease. This is basically where the nerve cells at the end of the colon are not working or not there at all to make the colon push the poop on out. This can be treated with surgery. They are waiting for Isaac to pass all the barium in his digestive tract before doing a rectal biopsy, which will then tell us if he has Hirschsprung's or not. The barium was used for the upper GI that was performed and is passing slowly out of his system.
Please be praying that this will pass quicker so we can get to the bottom, no pun intended, of all of this. The poor little guy has been poked and stuck all over from top to bottom and in just about every hole. I tried to get some pictures loaded up of him from today(Monday) but was unable to. I will get them on as soon as I can.

Thank you very much for your prayers and please keep praying! Please pray for Isaac to be an example of God's glory with a quick recovery. Please pray for strength for mom and dad. It is begining to take a toll on us emotionally, wanting to be with him, yet knowing that we also have two girls that need us as well. And we just want our baby home.
