We found out this morning when we called the nurse to check how he was doing, that he was starting to poop in his ostomy bag!!!! It had been 24-36 hours after his surgery and he is already working again. The G tube that drains his stomach is showing clear fluid, which is awesome and after 24 hours of clear secretions he can start eating. He was taking to the pacifier like an old pro, so starting to feed should not be a problem. He is still taking some pain meds though, but looks a lot better today then he did yesterday. The whites of his eyes are white, not yellowish. When he was awake he did not show his painful face. And as you can see he looks great. Keep praying. We have not talked to the surgeon yet today, but we have a feeling that he is going to be pretty shocked. The Lord is revealing His glory and power through a little 1 week old baby boy.
